The AC Distribution Box (ACDB) is a crucial component in a solar PV system that safely distributes AC power from the inverter to the grid or load. It provides overcurrent, short-circuit, and surge protection, while the No-Volt Release (NVR) system ensures safe shutdown during power failures, preventing unintentional restarts.

This ACDB is designed for 19–28 kW solar rooftop systems, built with high-quality components to meet MNRE and DISCOM guidelines.

1. AC MCB – 32A (3-Phase)

   • Provides protection against overload and short-circuit conditions.

   • Acts as the main disconnect for the AC side.

2. AC SPD – 3-Phase

   • Surge Protection Device to safeguard against voltage spikes and lightning surges.

   • Protects sensitive inverter and electrical components.

3. 3-Phase Contactor – 32A with NVR

   • No-Volt Release (NVR) system automatically disconnects power in case of voltage failure.

   • Prevents unintentional restarts when power returns, ensuring operator safety.

4. Heavy-Duty Enclosure

   • Compact 280 × 280 mm weatherproof enclosure.

   • IP65-rated for outdoor use, dustproof and rainproof.

   • Powder-coated finish for long-term durability.
