The DC Distribution Box (DCDB) is a critical component in a solar PV system, responsible for combining multiple DC strings and providing overcurrent and surge protection before the power reaches the inverter.

This 10-in/10-out DCDB is designed for large-scale rooftop or ground-mounted solar plants (81–100 kW), ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient DC power distribution. Equipped with high-quality DC SPDs and fuses, it meets all MNRE and DISCOM standards for solar PV installations.

Key Components Included

1. DC SPD – 1000V (5 Nos.)

   • Provides surge protection against lightning strikes and voltage transients.

   • Type 2 SPD, suitable for large-scale solar DC applications.

2. DC Fuse – 20A, 1000V (10 Nos.)

   • Provides individual string overcurrent protection.

   • Isolates faulty strings to prevent complete system shutdown.

3. Terminal Blocks / MC4 Connectors (Optional)

   • Allows secure, organized connections for input and output cables.

   • Facilitates easy installation and maintenance.

4. Heavy-Duty Enclosure

   • Rugged 560 × 380 mm powder-coated box for durability.

   • IP65-rated to protect against dust, rain, and outdoor conditions.
